  46.  WinJack is not and has never been public domain software, nor is it free software. 
  47.  
  48.  Non-licensed users are granted a limited license to use WinJack on a 30-day trial basis for the 
  49. purpose of determining whether WinJack is suitable for their needs.  The use of WinJack, except 
  50. for the initial 21-day trial, requires registration.  The use of unlicensed copies of WinJack by any 
  51. person, business, corporation, government agency or any other entity is strictly prohibited. 
  52.  
  53.  A single user license permits a user to use WinJack only on a single computer.  Licensed users 
  54. may use the program on different computers, but may not use the program on more than one 
  55. computer at the same time. 
  56.  
  57.  No one may modify or patch the WinJack executable files in any way,  including but not limited 
  58. to decompiling, disassembling, or otherwise reverse engineering the program. 
  59.  
  60.  A limited license is granted to copy and distribute WinJack only for the trial use of others, subject 
  61. to the above limitations, and also the following: 
  62.  
  63.   1)    WinJack must be copied in unmodified form, complete with the file containing this license 
  64. information and only the following WinJack files: WINJACK.EXE, WINJACK.HLP, 
  65. WINCARD.DLL, ORDER.WRI and README.TXT. You may NOT distribute the WinJack 
  66. registration ID, control numbers or that portion of the WIN.INI file created by WinJack.

  68.   2)    The full machine-readable WinJack documentation must be included with each copy.

  71.   3)    No fee, charge, or other compensation may be requested or accepted, except as 
  72. authorized below:

  74.         A) Operators of electronic bulletin board systems (sysops) may make WinJack available for 
  75. downloading only as long as the above conditions are met.  An overall or time-dependent charge 
  76. for the use of the bulletin board system is permitted as long as there is not a specific charge for 
  77. the download of WinJack.

  79.         B) Vendors of user-supported or shareware software may distribute 
  80. WinJack, subject to the above conditions, without specific permission.  Non- approved vendors 
  81. may distribute WinJack only after obtaining written permission from Opaque Software. Such 
  82. permission is usually granted.  Please write for details (enclose your catalog).  Vendors may 
  83. charge a disk duplication and handling fee, which, when pro-rated to the WinJack product, may 
  84. not exceed five dollars. 
  85.  
  86.         C) Non-profit user groups may distribute WinJack, subject to the above conditions, without 
  87. specific permission. Non-profit user groups may charge a disk duplication fee, which, when pro-
  88. rated to the WinJack product, may not exceed five dollars.

  90.   LIMITED WARRANTY 
  91.   EXCEPT AS PROVIDED ABOVE, OPAQUE SOFTWARE DISCLAIMS ALL 
  92.   WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT 
  93.   LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND 
  94.   FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WITH RESPECT TO THE 
  95.   PRODUCT.  SHOULD THE PROGRAM PROVE DEFECTIVE, THE 
  96.   PURCHASER ASSUMES THE RISK OF PAYING THE ENTIRE COST OF 
  97.   ALL NECESSARY SERVICING, REPAIR, OR CORRECTION AND ANY 
  98.   INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  IN NO EVENT WILL 
  99.   OPAQUE SOFTWARE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER 
  100.   (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF 
  101.   BUSINESS PROFITS, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, LOSS OF BUSINESS 
  102.   INFORMATION AND THE LIKE) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR THE 
  103.   INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT EVEN IF OPAQUE SOFTWARE 
  104.   HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

  106.   Use of this product for any period of time constitutes your acceptance of this agreement and 
  107. subjects you to its contents.

  109.   U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS 
  110.  
  111.   Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in 
  112. subdivision (b)(3)(ii) of the Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software clause at 252.227-
